Arab Gift Shop was born from a simple but powerful feeling — the longing to hold onto something that feels like home.

My name is Sam Hassan, and like so many Arab Americans in Los Angeles, I carry two worlds within me. Growing up, I was surrounded by the richness of Arab culture — the beauty of Arabic calligraphy, the warmth of family gatherings, the pride in our heritage. But as the years passed, I found it harder and harder to find products that truly reflected who we are: not stereotypes, not souvenirs, but authentic, meaningful pieces that celebrate our culture with dignity and artistry.

That's why I created Arab Gift Shop.
